Moorland Hotel is a great little hotel, situated 20 minutes from Plymouth town centre makes far enough form the hustle and bustle but close enough to venture out when you want to. The staff is warm and friendly; the hotel is 700ft above seas which provides picturesque views of South Devon including South Hams, Dartmoor and the ponies. Plymouth is a coastal city with a very rich history so if youâ¬"re a fan history and wonderful views then The Moorland is definitely the hotel for you!

Hazelwood hotel is situated wonderfully close to Newton Abbot town centre; the hotel owners are very helpful and friendly. The hotel benefits from having free WI-FI. Itâ¬"s a very relaxing stay that is comfortable, and friendly, definitely worth a visit!

Easton Court is a wonderful hotel which offers amazing service with picturesque views on looking the Dartmoor National Park On mile outside the village reside 4 acres of gardens which are situated next to Tegn Gorge and Castle Drogo, which are a real English Treasure. The hotel has an Edwardian design but is modernized with en suite bathrooms and WI-FI to accommodate both business and pleasure. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable

Church house is a traditional pub in the heart of Devon in Newton Abbot, the service is quick and the staff is friendly, and not forgetting the food which is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced, I loved the bangers and mash. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; it makes me feel right at home! Newton Abbot Leisure Centre has all you'd expect from a sports venue in terms of a pool, gym, sports hall, gymnastics facility etc... what's really good though is all the activities for the youth it hosts throughout the year and in the school holidays. This summer holidays the centre has so many activities for kids available including swimming, outdoor pursuits, cheerleading, street dance and basketball. China Garden is a really great takeaway. They always deliver promptly and never get an order wrong, but best of all is the excellent quality of their food. The meat dishes (particularly the duck and beef) are cooked to perfection, the sauces are not gloopy and full of MSG, and the rice is fluffy and freshly steamed. The vegetables too are just the right level of crispiness and freshness, making for a really exceptional Chinese meal.China Garden is a really great takeaway.
